We all want to feel loved, accepted and understood. It turns out we all developed an “attachment style” with invisible roots going back to childhood where we responded to how we were treated. Our attachment needs shape how we relate and react when we feel threatened with our partner, family member, work colleague or friend. Often our needs go unspoken and hidden even from ourselves. When our needs aren’t met we feel misunderstood and unloved. And we have all created strategies to protect our hearts that often leave us feeling more alone unloved and disconnected.

Therapy invites us to name what often remains hidden: the need to know we matter, that we won’t be left alone in moments of pain or insecurity. We learn a new way to connect with ourselves and others that leads to a feeling connectedness, mutual understanding and fulfillment.

She is also a certified EMDR therapist. She provides individual and couple and family therapy and mind-body-spirit services in her private practice in Boca Raton, Florida. Elizabeth is passionate about helping clients become more self aware, process unresolved pain and adopt healthier patterns that allow them to participate in safe, loving and enjoyable relationships.
